Facebook have recently made a number of changes to the API that allows us to access their functionality.
This means that there are certain changes that have taken place. The most important one is that you can no longer access personal Facebook profiles through MusterPoint and any pages created by them.

- Retrieving updates from Facebook pages (text, images, videos)
- Scheduling page posts
- Reply to page posts
- Assign a page post
- Email a page post
- Tag a page post
- Show / hide page post comments
- Retrieve page direct messages
- Reply to page direct messages
- Email direct messages
- Tag direct messages
- Assign direct messages
Facebook video sizes and formats
If you upload a video with a multi-part HTTP request or by providing a URL to a video, the video cannot exceed 1GB in size and 20 minutes in duration.
We support the following formats for uploaded videos:
3g2, 3gp, 3gpp, asf, avi, dat, divx, dv, f4v, flv, m2ts, m4v, mkv, mod, mov, mp4, mpe, mpeg, mpeg4, mpg, mts, nsv, ogm, ogv, qt, tod, ts, vob, wmv.
The aspect ratio of the video must be between 9x16 and 16x9.
Facebook image sizes and formats
There are some caveats;
- Check the file size of your photos. We recommend uploading photos under 4MB.
- For PNG files, try keep the file size below 1 MB. PNG files larger than 1 MB may appear pixelated after upload.
Facebook strips all location metadata before publishing and resizes images to different dimensions to best support rendering in multiple sizes.
For further information about this you can see the Facebook developer reference page here https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/page/photos/
Facebook feature requests
It's possible we may be able to implement further Facebook features based on what they make available to developers. If you would like to suggest a feature request, please do so here;
