The media functionality in MusterPoint can also be used for internal communications.
Simply create a case with the name of your chosen internal communications item.
Then you can create a ‘press release’ template for your newsletter, e-bulletin, or perhaps press cuttings summary. You could store notes for future content ideas in the comments section, and also record any enquiries relating to your internal communications content as part of the case.
You can create new groups of contacts or duplicate from your press contacts. So if you already have a group of all councillors or other stakeholders that you send your media releases to, you can use that same group for your internal comms.
The functionality in MusterPoint is designed to be flexible so have a think about any regular communications you send out with a template to a fixed group of people and why not try MusterPoint’s media functionality. Remember you can schedule too, so even if you are not going to be in the office the communication can go out at a regular time.
There are no limits to the number of groups and contacts you can have, or how many communications you send out, so use it for as many functions as you can.
