However complicated your organisation is, you can set up your MusterPoint platform to reflect your own structure. When we designed it, we wanted it to be flexible enough to work for small comms teams as well as large organisations, and multi-agency partnerships.
Whatever your set-up you can choose access and permission levels to suit the way you want to use MusterPoint to manage your social media and media.
There are three levels (plus a training mode for inexperienced staff) so you can have control over who posts to which account, who is responsible for replies, and monitor posts that have been assigned to a team or user for action. See the full table of functionality here.
Organisation admins have full control over the social media accounts added and can add, edit, and remove teams and users. Team admins can add and share social media accounts with their team members. Users can only access and use the social media accounts that admins have given them permission to use.
At a glance you can see and edit all of the users in your MusterPoint platform, disabling access temporarily or permanently should the need arise.
There’s a big overlap between the work of communications and customer service teams when it comes to social media. If you need to work together but have clear reporting on who sent updates, who is responsible for replying to queries and timescales, MusterPoint will help you to do just that.
It’s very easy to include other teams from your organisation, for example if you add your FOI team you can assign relevant incoming social media queries to them and easily report on the time taken to respond to them. Flytipping reports can be assigned over to Environmental Services, neighbourhood teams can take control of their social media scheduling, monitoring and replies, all within a structured platform that means you don’t have to share your account passwords with half of your staff.
We also offer split billing so there’s no need for internal wrangling over who is paying the bill and recharging costs.
We’ll help you to build your platform to reflect your organisation.
